October 2010 - After the Cruise

So, it's been 10 months since my last post. I could give you plenty of excuses, but, truth is, I just flat-out slacked off. I will say, though, that Facebook is a VERY guilty party. On the plus side...Facebook has also allowed me to go back and "remember" these highlights. With that said, I will do a multiple-part update going back to after our cruise:

October 2010 - After the Cruise
- We bought a new dryer after it went out on us a few days before our cruise. We had our fill of line-drying between dryers!

- Little Man's favorite word during this time was "Ominous." It came from the PBS Kids website.

- For Halloween, Little Man was a superhero and called himself, "Captain C". We carved a snarling wolf into a pumpkin, went to the pumpkin patch a couple of times, participated in a costume contest at The Discovery Center in which Janet from PBS's Janet's Planet was a judge, WON the costume contest for his age division and found out he was afraid of heights at our church's Fall Festival while on the Moon Bounce.

Here are a few Halloween pics:

Happy Halloween!

I said I'd post some Halloween pictures, so here they are:

Is he a dinosaur or dragon? You decide:

Ready to go Trick or Treating

Posing with friends from church

All done Trick or Treating. Notice the pen in his hand...it's a Hannah Montana pen that sings, "Who Said" courtesy of one of our neighbors. We're hoping the battery dies soon!

The Loot...before we visited our next door neighbor. It was completely full by the end of the night.

It's Freaky Friday!

Happy Halloween! It's time for Friday Fill-Ins!

1. My favorite food seasoning is cajun, chili or most anything spicey.
2. Silence is music to my ears.
3. Lucky is the name of an English Setter that I had as a kid.
4. My faith and belief in God is something I take very seriously.
5. Many people need to open their eyes to the Truth.
6. A pair of garden shears was the last thing I bought at the store.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to taking Christopher Trick or Treating, tomorrow my plans include watching the Tennessee/South Carolina game and Sunday, I want to watch the Titans beat the Packers and relax in between church activities!
