TGIF!!!

Although it's rainy and yucky here today, I'm so excited it's Friday! For one, it's Pizza Night! You'd think after eating Domino's pizza (pepperoni at that) just about every Friday for the past 8 years, I'd be sick of it. Nope! I still LOVE it!!!

The other reason I'm excited it's Friday is because that means it's time for...

1. Right now, I'm feeling ready to get out of the house (if only it would stop raining)!
2. Back on the beach in Destin is where I want to be.
3. How does one NOT like Coca-Cola and chocolate as much as I do?
4. My family and faith keeps me on track.
5. Please don't talk politics around me. Yes, I have my opinion. No, I don't want to debate with you.
6. Raising a child fills me with joy.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a Halloween party and Pizza Night, tomorrow my plans include going to Knoxville for the Tennessee/Alabama game (GO VOLS!!!) and Sunday, I want to be lazy and play hookie from church in the morning and then go to our Fall Festival in the evening!

Next week is Halloween! Be ready for some neat pumpkin pictures! We'll be carving and painting this week. =)

Christopher Can Draw Letters!

This evening, Christopher and Shad were sitting in the recliner looking at a book together. It wasn't just any regular book; it was a book about dinosaurs that had dry erase pages and a dry erase marker. It allows children to trace letters and draw their own. So, I warned Shad not to expect too much since we're just introducing that to the 3-year old class I help teach. Some of those children are having a really hard time. I really didn't have any expectations at all for Christopher to be able to trace. Well, as usual, he proved me wrong! Here are some pictures of his work:

He's so proud of himself!

Our 2nd Trip to Walden Farm

Yesterday was our 2nd trip to the pumpkin patch, Walden Farm. We met up with my Babycenter.com birthboard buddy, Becca, and her daughter, Juliana. We all had a LOT of fun, but since the kids didn't get naps, they were EXHAUSTED!!! We all went on the hayride and then the kids played in the hay maze, with the corn troughs, with the farm play table, in the kiddie play area (including the corn crib, a tire swing and Hay Mountain), fed the goats and finished up with the kiddie corn maze. Of course, we got LOTS of pictures! Here are a few:

Christopher and Juliana on the hayride

Playing with the farm play table

Posing as a scarecrow and pumpkin

Playing with the corn in troughs

You'd think these goats were STARVING!

Playing in the corn crib

Christopher's first time on a tire swing

King and Queen of Hay Mountain

Going through the corn maze

Awww! Aren't they so cute together??

Last picture, I PROMISE!
