CD 15

Today is now cd15. I had a small temp drop yesterday on cd14 and this morning an increase of 0.8 degrees (possible ovulation yesterday??). Part of that is probably from taking it at 6:00 instead of 5:30 like I've been doing over the last couple of days (I didn't hear my alarm this morning, but thankfully Shad's cell phone rang when it did!). However, even if I'd taken it at 5:30 like I should have, I'm sure it would've been a decent increase from the day before. Now I just have to wait and see how long my LP is and IF I'm successful this cycle! Therefore, I am now in the 2ww although I don't really know when AF should come since my cycles haven't regulated after bcp. I'll wait until April 15 (tax day!) to test. My birthday is April 20, so that would be a GREAT birthday gift to myself!!!

I've been saying that we won't "officially" start ttc until next cycle, but I guess technically, we've already started. I've been searching the internet and doing the math for if I conceive this cycle. I'm getting an estimated due date of anything from December 23 - December 26...A CHRISTMAS BABY! Of course, I've read on a couple of websites that only 5% of babies are born on their exact due date. I guess I'm one of the 5% since I WAS born on my due date at 12 noon. How much more on time could I have been? I have to keep in mind that edd is just that...ESTIMATED. I most likely would give birth anytime in the 2 weeks before or the 2 weeks after the due date (December 12, 2005 - January 9, 2006). I guess a Christmas baby wouldn't be so bad afterall!

This morning, Jenn and I went to Carter's to get a baby gift for Ben and Beth's baby, Emily. OMG! Both of us wanted to buy everything in there; it was all so cute!!! Of course, Jenn's not planning to ttc yet, and figured her DH would kill her if she bought anything. Shad wouldn't be too happy if I got something either, but he'd get over it. However, I was strong enough to stick to my mission and not buy anything else. Maybe sometime in the next few months I'll be in there again.

OT: Shad and I had lunch with Lois today to catch up since we haven't seen each other in a couple of years and to talk about real estate stuff. We didn't think we'd be ready to buy anything for another 1-2 years, but after talking to her, it looks hopeful for the near future! We still need to talk to a lender, so I'm not holding my breath yet. We'll probably contact the lender that she recommended sometime in the next week or so since we didn't have anyone else in mind. I would love for us to be in our own house before we have a baby!
